Telus Accused of Misleading B.C. Consumer Watchdog in Cancellation-Fee Probe
Consumer Protection B.C. is in a court fight with Telus over allegations that it misled an inspector probing a mistaken $1,435.65 cancellation fee that a customer received after cancelling a sales contract. Records show Telus first said complaint files didn’t exist and later admitted there were too many to sift. An inspector has ordered Telus to disclose records tied to cancellation requests.
