Telesat Government Solutions signed a strategic collaboration agreement with Cailabs to explore integrating Telesat Lightspeed’s low Earth orbit optical inter-satellite link terminals with Cailabs’ production-ready optical ground systems. The work targets secure, resilient, high-capacity space-to-ground communications for U.S. Government and allied missions, supported by a mesh backbone and Cailabs plans to scale optical ground station production.
