TD COO Turan departs after under a year amid AML issues
Toronto-Dominion Bank’s chief operating officer Taylan Turan is leaving after less than a year, having overseen TD’s transformation strategy aimed at addressing failures in its anti-money-laundering procedures and responding to penalties and requirements from U.S. regulators and law enforcement. Vlad Shpilsky will lead the unit, while Renu Gupta takes on a senior strategy and commercial role.
