TC Energy Raises Natural Gas Demand Forecast on Data Centre Boom

TC Energy raised its forecast for North American natural gas demand, expecting 51 billion cubic feet per day in growth from 2025 levels through 2035, driven by LNG exports, gas-fired power generation and industrial activity. Record data-centre developer participation on an intra-Alberta network offering between 2030 and 2032 is prompting TC to explore expanding capacity, after interest in Crossroads exceeded the initial capacity by 2.5 times. The company also reported higher quarterly net income and revenue.
