Starbucks Tests 24-Hour Inventory Replenishment and Supply-Chain Changes
Starbucks is testing a 24-hour operating model to replenish inventory within 24 hours and improve speed, availability, and reliability across its supply chain, aiming for better pull-through in logistics. The company says the approach will streamline back-of-house processes and standardize inventory counts. Starbucks will rely on new ordering technology in fiscal 2027 after earlier computer-vision counting tools were deemed unreliable.
