Starbucks closes downtown Seattle store after DocuSign exits WA tower
Starbucks shuttered its downtown Seattle store at 999 Third Ave after DocuSign confirmed it is moving out of the tower. The company laid off about 900 employees and shut at least 28 Washington stores, adding five more closures in March. It later announced plans for a Nashville corporate office and to move or hire 2,000 workers there, a shift that could cost Washington up to $750M in tax revenue.
