A modern four-axle multi-system locomotive cuts energy use by around 15% versus SBB Cargo’s current fleet and offers seating plus sleeping and family areas. Stadler also shows carriages enabling emission-free operation on non-electrified metre- and narrow-gauge lines, including theKISS Railjet and ÖBB’s FLIRT Akku. Both are manufactured in St. Margrethen, Switzerland.
