Stadler Rail rejected a $12.3 million ransom after a cyberattack on a data exchange platform shared with a supplier. The company said the attack did not disrupt Stadler production systems or vehicles in service, and attackers used valid login credentials without malware or exploits. The stolen material belonged to the supplier. Stadler has not appeared on the leak site.
