SSE has filed a planning application with An Coimisiún Pleanála for a 102MW onshore Crumhach Wind Farm near Dromore West in County Sligo, intended to replace the existing Kingsmountain (25MW) and Dunneill (11MW) SSE sites. The boundary includes both current footprints and adjacent greenfield land, after community consultations began in early 2024. A new grid connection application will follow, and the project is expected to continue community benefit funding and local commercial rates.
