Spotify Plans AI Persona Badge to Label AI-Generated Artists

Spotify will roll out an AI Persona badge on some artist profiles starting mid-September to flag when an artist’s identity may be AI-generated rather than a real person. The streaming service says it’s meant to improve transparency and listener trust after some fans raised concerns about seeing human profiles that turned out to be AI-generated.
