Spotify introduced Playlist Notes on August 17, letting editors attach written context to individual tracks on playlists such as Today’s Top Hits and RapCaviar. Built from User Notes launched July 30, the listener tool also covers podcasts and audiobooks and is rolling out on iOS and Android across more than 100 markets, with editor availability varying.
