SpiceJet Flight SG-105 Returns After Passengers Refuse Due to AC Failure
More than 100 SpiceJet passengers on flight SG-105 from Delhi to Pune refused to continue after heat and humidity built up in the cabin, allegedly from a faulty air-conditioning system. The AC was not switched on even after taxiing for 40–45 minutes, and crew allegedly told passengers to stay seated. With expectant mothers and some passengers feeling close to collapsing, the aircraft halted and returned to a bay; another flight departed around 5:30 a.m. and landed in Pune around 7 a.m. SpiceJet said it regretted the inconvenience.
