SpaceX Seeks FCC Block of ViaSat-3 F2 Over Interference Concerns
SpaceX filed a 25-page petition urging the FCC to block ViaSat-3 F2, alleging ViaSat did not meaningfully coordinate and that analyses show the satellite could cause interference about one-third of the time in specified Ka-band downlink ranges. The FCC cleared the satellite in late July but required ViaSat to reach agreements with LEO users over shared spectrum.
