Solstice Advanced Materials and Element Solutions Call Off $12B Merger
Solstice Advanced Materials and Element Solutions called off their deal to combine after feedback from their respective shareholders. The merger, announced last month, would have had Solstice buy Element, a specialty-chemicals maker, for more than $12 billion in cash and stock, aiming to expand into high-growth electronics and AI infrastructure markets.
