SolarEdge and Infineon are extending their partnership to tackle DC fault protection challenges in AI and hyperscale data centers. The firms will develop a faster, all-electronic solid-state circuit breaker for high-voltage DC distribution, using Infineon silicon carbide JFET technology. The approach promises ultra-fast fault isolation while preserving high-efficiency conversion tied to SolarEdge’s SST platform.
