SM Prime partners with Manila and PSC to redevelop Rizal Memorial complex

SM Prime, the Philippine Sports Commission and the City of Manila formalized a partnership to redevelop the historic Rizal Memorial Sports Complex. Plans include a pedestrian-friendly PSC Plaza and an elevated walkway connecting the complex to the redeveloped SM Harrison Plaza ahead of the 2027 Southeast Asian Plus Youth Games. Heritage plans such as relocating a statue and adding a Rizal monument are subject to National Historical Commission approval.
