Skipper Limited said the Kolkata CGST appellate authority has set aside the tax department’s appeal and extinguished a proposed ₹10,21,17,234 demand under Section 74 of the CGST Act. The order received July 23, 2026 follows proceedings beginning with a Dec 1, 2025 show cause notice. The company also disclosed the Aug 3, 2026 demise of independent director Ashok Bhandari, who stopped serving on board committees that day.
