SK hynix announced with Sandisk the first standard specifications for High Bandwidth Flash (HBF), building on a consortium launched in February and an initial standardization partnership in August 2025. The specs target capacities up to 512GB using 8-high and 16-high stack configurations. Keynotes at FMS 2026 run Aug. 4 and a panel on Aug. 6 includes Sandisk and Google DeepMind.
