SK Hynix Cuts Water Use at Korean Chip Plants and Expands Reuse

SK Hynix reduced water consumption at its Korean chip plants by an average of 170,000 tons a day last year, roughly equivalent to daily household use for 550,000 people. It reported cumulative savings of 303.37 million tons, exceeding its target, and aims to cut another 600 million tons by 2030. Reused water rose to 73.59 million tons, including 94,400 tons daily at Icheon’s recycling facility and reused water adoption at Cheongju.
