Siemens Healthineers to expand Blount County with 90 jobs
Siemens Healthineers plans to bring 90 jobs to Blount County by adding a research and development center and expanding production of a PET detector technology used with PET scanners to help visualize diseases including Alzheimer’s and cancer. The company has already invested more than $43 million in its Blount County campus, and Tennessee is offering an incentive amount not disclosed, alongside a new product line.
