Siemens Healthineers Receives Up to $31.1M ARPA-H Grant for Remote Stroke Robotics
Siemens Healthineers received up to $31.1M from ARPA-H to speed development of an autonomous remote endovascular robotic system for mechanical thrombectomy in stroke patients. The project targets limited access to neurointerventional procedures in U.S. cities, where only about 12% of eligible patients get thrombectomy. Siemens bought Corindus in 2019.
