Siemens Energy to supply power and gas compression for SBM Offshore FPSOs in Brazil

Siemens Energy was selected by SBM Offshore to supply power generation and gas compression systems for Petrobras FPSOs in Brazil’s Sergipe-Alagoas Deepwater basin, including SEAP I and SEAP II. The deal covers 16 modular systems, assembled largely at the Santa Bárbara d’Oeste facility, with first consignments due by end-2027. Production starts in 2030 and gas exports in 2031 via a dedicated pipeline to onshore markets.
