ShopeePay partners with TenPay Global to expand cross-border QR payments

Tencent’s TenPay Global has partnered with ShopeePay to expand QR code payment acceptance across Southeast Asia. ShopeePay users can pay by scanning WeChat Pay QR codes, with rollout starting in Singapore and Thailand. The deal adds ShopeePay to TenPay Global’s broader e-wallet network, while Tencent also improves overseas WeChat Pay support with multilingual guidance and offline service desks at travel sites in China.
