South Korean department store Shinsegae opened its first overseas off-price Factory Store in Vientiane, Laos, at the KOKKOK Mega Mall Patuxai branch with Grand View Property of Kolao Group. The move marks Shinsegae’s first venture of this format beyond its home market and a base for expanding its franchise model across Southeast Asia. Q2 operating profit rose 121.9% to Won167.1bn as net sales increased to Won1.78tn.
