Shenu Agarwal, managing director and CEO of Ashok Leyland, was elected president of the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM) for the 2026-27 term, following a decision by SIAM’s Executive Committee at its annual convention. He succeeds Shailesh Chandra of Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles. SIAM also named K N Radhakrishnan as vice president and Santosh Iyer as treasurer.
