Segro agrees $19 billion Prologis takeover after investor pressure
Segro has accepted Prologis’s takeover offer worth up to £14.3 billion ($19.19 billion) after investor pressure, making it among the largest foreign takeovers of a UK-listed company. The deal is for up to £10.54 per share, after Segro shares closed at £9.75. Segro owns about 10.9 million square metres across Europe and both firms are building a data-centre pipeline for AI, with timing set under UK takeover rules.
