Seatrium’s floating remote DER platform exports first power to Singapore grid
Seatrium delivered first electrons from its Floating Living Lab into Singapore’s national grid on July 3, becoming the first operator to export power from a remotely operated, grid-connected floating distributed energy resource platform. The FLL carries ABS Remote-CON notation and uses LNG received in March 2026 to generate electricity via onboard engines, exporting surplus while being monitored and operated from shore.
