The Schwab U.S. Dividend Equity ETF (SCHD) is closing in on the Vanguard Dividend Appreciation ETF (VIG) for top performance in the category, with VIG returning 11.54%. Morningstar data shows SCHD has run strongly this year, edging toward healthcare, consumer staples, energy, industrials, financials and technology, with Technology at 25.97% and Financial Services at 21.84%. Fund assets reached $679M as it rose 2.39%, tracking the Dow Jones U.S. Dividend 100 Index screens.
