Sauer Brands has agreed to sell its spice and seasonings business to Watkins, including rights tied to Kernel Season s, Spice Hunter and Sauer s brands. The deal covers Sauer s private-label and foodservice spice operations and transfers ownership of production sites in Richmond, Virginia and San Luis Obispo, California. Sauer says the disposal refocuses it on condiments, with closing expected in Q3.
