Saudi Aramco and Maaden Agree Joint Venture to Explore Transition Minerals
Saudi Aramco and Maaden signed a shareholders’ agreement to form a joint venture to pursue mineral exploration and hard-rock mining in Saudi Arabia. The JV will focus on copper and other energy-transition minerals in Zone-4, covering about 182,000 square kilometers, and is planned to be owned 51% by Maaden and 49% by Aramco.
