SAP Closes Dremio Deal and Adds Prior Labs to Expand Cloud Momentum

SAP completed its Dremio acquisition on July 6 and followed with the Prior Labs deal on July 17. The integration is expected to dilute earnings by more than €100 million, leading SAP to trim its 2026 non-IFRS operating profit forecast to €11.8–12.2 billion. Cloud backlog and cloud revenue rose in Q2, and SAP guided full-year cloud revenue of €25.8–26.2 billion. NTT DATA will adopt SAP SuccessFactors and the Business Data Cloud with Joule for HR, and SAP repurchased about 2.9 million shares in early August.
