Sandvik to Supply Automated Fleet for Viscaria Copper Mine Restart
Gruvaktiebolaget Viscaria has appointed Sandvik to supply an underground automated fleet for restarting its copper mine in Kiruna, Sweden. The deal covers four DL432i longhole drills and four Toro LH621i loaders on AutoMine Multi-Lite with fleet management. Restart is scheduled for 2028, targeting full output in 2029 at 26,000t annually, with deliveries planned from Jan–Aug 2027.
