Samsung Electronics announced that Samsung Wallet’s Digital Key will expand to supported Volkswagen ID vehicles, including ID.Polo, ID.Cross, ID.3neo, ID.4, ID.5, ID.7 and ID.Buzz. Compatible Galaxy phones can lock, unlock and start the car without a physical key. Keys are stored on-device, backed by Samsung Knox and meet EAL6+ certification, with Europe rollout starting Aug. 18, 2026.
