Samsung’s legal team asked a California judge to dismiss Dua Lipa’s $15 million lawsuit alleging her image was used without authorization on Samsung TV product boxes. Samsung argues the images simply depict the TV on-screen interface and that content-partner assurances covered the artwork, including retail packaging. Lipa sued in May after cease-and-desist orders were allegedly ignored.
