Samsung SDI to Sell 33% Stake in Samsung Display for 4.45 Trillion Won
Samsung SDI will sell about 33% of its Samsung Display stake back to the latter in a deal worth roughly 4.45 trillion won (about $3.3 billion), transferring 13,088,235 shares. The proceeds are intended to fund North American battery capacity expansion and next-generation technology, including LFP-based ESS batteries, solid-state development, and customer validation samples for advanced batteries.
