Samsung Raises SF4 Chip Prices by 10% to 15% Amid Demand Spike
Samsung raised prices for chips made on its 4-nanometre SF4 process in July, with increases of 10% to 15% for customers in China and the U.S. and 5% to 10% for customers in Taiwan. The move is framed as supported by demand and production leverage, while Samsung expects advanced nodes and AI/HPC demand to drive more than half and 30%+ of foundry revenue this year; Google is also in talks to use SF4.
