Salama H1 Profit More Than Triples to Dh28.3 Million on Underwriting and Cost Control
Islamic Arab Insurance reported first-half profit after tax of Dh28.3 million, more than three times the Dh8.2 million a year earlier, supported by stronger underwriting discipline, portfolio optimization, pricing actions and tighter expense management. Q2 profit rose to Dh14.3 million. After a capital raise and reduction, Salama returned to a solvency surplus of Dh111.6 million with a 154% solvency ratio.
