Saipem and NSH Begin Construction of $1.24bn Uthmaniyah Gas Compression Plant

Construction has started on the $1.24bn Uthmaniyah gas compression plant in Saudi Arabia, advancing Saudi Aramco’s Shedgum and Uthmaniyah compression program. The facility will compress non-associated gas before it enters the existing processing system and includes modifications to the existing Uthmaniyah gas plant, with EPC capacity supported locally under Aramco’s National EPC Champion approach. SNSH has about 42 months to complete its EPC scope.
