Saipem and Jan De Nul sign LoI for Rovuma LNG phase one in Mozambique

Saipem, with Jan De Nul, signed a letter of intent with ExxonMobil Moçambique for work tied to phase one of the offshore Rovuma LNG project in Mozambique. Mozambique Rovuma Venture holds 70%, with other partners split among XRG, KOGAS and ENH. Saipem and Jan De Nul will perform preliminary planning; a final EPCIC contract depends on FID and government and regulatory approval expected this year, with operations due in 2031.
