ExxonMobil signed a letter of intent for the Rovuma LNG Area 4 partners to proceed with $32 million of limited engineering and procurement services as the EPC framework is finalized. Saipem reported separately. The LoI bridges to a final EPC award to the SMDC joint venture after Area 4 partners and Mozambique’s ENH declare final investment decision, expected by end-2026, with a targeted 2031 startup.
