Major Saudi fertilizer producers SABIC AN and Maaden signed a three-year agreement to explore collaboration opportunities across the fertilizer value chain, including production of value-added products. The deal is between SABIC AN and Maaden Integrated Fertilizer (MIFC). SABIC AN also plans to add 2.6 million tpy of urea capacity, taking total capacity to about 7.4 million tpy, after gas allocation approval in March.
