S. Korea Antitrust Regulator Clears Hanwha’s KAI Stake Purchase
South Korea’s antitrust regulator has cleared Hanwha to increase its Korea Aerospace Industries (KAI) stake, with its holding set to surpass 15%, reviving privatization talk. Hanwha and Doosan are also linked to fighter jet engine development. KAI said it signed a 2 trillion won mass-production deal for the KF-21, and the KF-21 production line was unveiled at Hanwha Aerospace’s Sacheon plant.
