RWE and Google signed a 15-year power purchase agreement for the 155-MWac Crooked Creek Solar project in McCurtain County, Oklahoma. RWE plans to start onsite construction later this year, targeting commercial operation in 2028 and selling the plant’s full output into the Southwest Power Pool (SPP). Construction is expected to generate $24.3M in local activity and $1.4M in state and local taxes, employing up to 250 workers at peak.
