Russian-Speaking Hackers Use SpaceX Cursor AI Tool to Breach Firms
Chat logs from April 8 to May 21 show Russian-speaking hackers using Cursor, an AI tool linked to SpaceX, to infiltrate at least six companies in Belgium, Germany and Scotland, including Christeyns, Teckentrup and Helideck Certification Agency. The Cursor agent sometimes refused harmful requests, but hackers restarted chats and framed the work as a test, bypassing safeguards.
