RTX CEO Says Patriot and LTAMDS Orders Boost Raytheon Growth
Raytheon booked $19.9B in awards in the quarter, lifting adjusted operating profit to $1B. RTX said international demand for integrated air and missile defense systems stayed strong, including more than $5B of GEM-T Patriot effectors and about $800M for LTAMDS, plus $1.1B of AIM-9X awards. The unit ended with an $86B backlog, with 48% tied to international programs, supported by rising NATO budgets and large European orders.
