Ørsted Completes Greater Changhua 2b and 4 Offshore Wind Construction
Ørsted has finished major construction on Taiwan’s 920MW Greater Changhua 2b and 4 offshore wind farms and the projects are moving into final commissioning. Full commercial operation is expected in late Q3 2026 after remaining work and contractual and regulatory requirements. The cluster reaches 1.82GW, powering about two million households annually, with Cathay Life co-owning Greater Changhua 4 and planned ownership growth in Greater Changhua 2.
