A Romulus, Michigan BP station is still charging nearly $6 a gallon for regular fuel, about $2 more than nearby competitors, according to GasBuddy and local reports. The Michigan Attorney General’s office launched a formal price-gouging investigation months earlier. When reporters asked on site, workers directed them to BP corporate, and consumers were told to contact the AG’s Consumer Protection Team.
