Rogers Satellite rolls out to all B.C. wireless customers during wildfires

Rogers is opening Rogers Satellite province-wide in British Columbia for all Rogers wireless customers, including businesses and government, to help maintain connectivity when wildfire damage or outages disrupt cell coverage. The service supports text messaging and text-to-911 plus satellite-ready apps on compatible devices. Rogers is also matching Red Cross donations up to $100,000 and automatically crediting evacuated customers’ internet, TV and home phone bills for the evacuation period.
