Rocket Lab won a $397 million U.S. Space Force contract to design, manufacture and launch a fleet of Flatellites under the SB-AMTI program. The system is intended to augment existing infrastructure and track airborne threats in real time, supporting operations in contested airspace. The award is the company’s largest national defense contract so far this year, adding to $943 million in major defense deals announced since the start of 2026.
