Rocket Lab Unveils GHOST Portable Launch System for Orbit or Suborbital Flights
Rocket Lab unveiled GHOST, a self-contained mobile launch system it says can place payloads into orbit or perform suborbital launches from virtually anywhere on Earth. Built to work with Electron and HASTE, the system can be packaged in standard shipping containers. New Alaska launch pads are set for its first real-world testing, joining sites in New Zealand and Virginia, with a first GHOST-supported launch expected from Launch Complex 4 in 2027, including planned U.S. Space Force missions.
